Welcome fellow readers and authors! I began writing when I was a child and I am currently a professional web content writer who specializes in travel. I'm passionate about history and an avid reader of both historical fiction and non-fiction history books. Throughout my life, I've been inspired by authors such as Victoria Holt, Phyllis A. Whitney and Belva Plain, and I strive to create the same type of multi-dimensional, entertaining characters that readers can relate to, understand, and ultimately enjoy. I created my first book-length work of fiction with Hot Winter Sun, under the pen mane Jessica Russell, and I laughingly call it "the kind of fiction you think no one writes anymore." I have recently published a sequel under the same author name, entitled Cold Summer Wind. For many years I was a professional singer and I frequently think of words as “music of another kind” and hope they are felt that way by my readers. I live in South Carolina in the greater Myrtle Beach area with my forever husband Dan, as well as Frosty and Snoodle, my faithful, purring companions.
